Warranty and Stick Information

If you're breaking a lot of sticks, you're likely either using too light of a flex or loading the stick inefficiently and putting too much force into the load.

If a hockey stick is going to break, it is most likely going to be the shaft. The reason is simple – repeated impact on the stick.

The second most likely place a hockey stick will experience damage or break is the blade itself.  This is usually due to the continued beating the blade takes on the ice. The constant force on the blade during a game, whether it is slap shots, stick pounding or just maneuvering the puck across the ice, weakens the blade through constant contact with the ice. This can cause it to snap or just wear down the bottom and face of the blade over time.

The repair of a stick, after a break, cannot guarantee a stick will not break again. Most times, a repaired stick will break in a totally different spot than it originally broke BUT, on occasion, a repaired stick will fail in the exact same spot. Due to the fact a hockey stick is still a hockey stick, Snapp'd magic cannot guarantee a break will not occur again. All players have different styles, shooting strength and skill levels. Once a stick leaves the shop, it's just as good as a stick that originally cost 3 to 4 times the cost Snapp'd can offer. Each and every stick is tested for durability with full force handling and shooting, otherwise, the stick is not put into the inventory. If a repaired stick is not for you, the only thing I can ask is, try one.

Snapp'd does offer a money back guarantee on all refurbished sticks and repairs that may rebreak in the same spot as before.The guarantee must be within reason and with Snapp'd, a simple text or phone call is all it takes.

If a repaired stick is going to break, it's going to break one of the first times you use it. The stick must be returned for inspection before a refund is authorized. Snapp'd will work with you to rectify any issues, within reasonable terms, as the goal is to have happy and return customers. The customer  relationship is the warranty! If the service of hockey stick repair didn't work or wasn't proven as durable of not better than original, we wouldn't be doing this. Every stick offered for sale or repaired, requires a ton of time and effort. Retailers and Stick Companies do not like services such as Snapp'd because they sell NEW sticks. They rely on breaks for customers willing to pay the price when a break occurs and the stick warranty has expired. 

Any stick sold $30 and under, in the Never Broken or Unreleased category, is a final sale. $30 and under sticks are there for buyers who just want a good hockey stick at a low price. The Never Broken   sticks are, just that, unbroken and only cleaned of tape, after market grips and other marks from being preowned. The Unreleased sticks, a premium is paid to obtain them and Snapp'd cannot offer a warranty, money back, or return on them. Any refurbished stick that is cut, extended or painted, after purchase, will also void and wanted or money back return.
